The distributor · calendar, connectors, outcomes

Every approved piece out at the right moment — measured, and learned from.

DistroMachina plans each approved piece into a slot that respects the trend's window, the market's best hours, spacing, blackouts and weekly cadence; publishes through official APIs only, behind an autonomy gate you set per channel; and brings back what every post did at 24 hours, 72 hours and 7 days so the scout's next idea is better calibrated.

Official APIs only · never browser automation, never account cookies · outcomes flow back to SignalMachina

PlanA slot within 15 minutes of approval, with a reason you can read: "best hour for AR on TikTok, trend rising, 1 of 2 today".
PublishDraft: a copy-ready checklist. Copilot: you press "Publish now". Autopilot: due slots go out within ±10 minutes of plan, AI label set.
LearnOutcomes per post, ICE versus realised, best hours per channel, winners back into ideation — every day, with a weekly gate.

01 The shift

Publishing is where most loops quietly break.

The idea was good, the piece was approved, and then it went out two days late, at the wrong hour, and nobody wrote down what happened. The distributor exists so that the plan is explicit, the publish is on time, and the outcome is recorded — because without ≥ 80 % on time and ≥ 70 % measured, no strategy result means anything.

02 How it works

Slot, gate, publish, measure, learn, recycle.

dm tick plans and re-plans; dm outcomes and dm learn run daily; publish jobs run as their own processes.

01

Slot

Within 15 minutes of approval a piece gets a channel, a local time and a reason: the idea's timing window (rising and peak trends first), best hours per geo, spacing per channel and day, the brand's blackouts and the channel's weekly cadence target.

02

Gate

The channel's autonomy level decides what happens at slot time. Pre-checks run before anything is sent: size, duration and aspect against the platform, a public URL, caption length, hashtag count, the AI label on clone videos, opt-ins for WhatsApp.

03

Publish

A job moves queued → uploading → processing → published, or failed, or needs_manual with a plain reason. Three retries with backoff, Retry-After honoured, tokens redacted from every log and error. dm publish runs the jobs.

04

Outcomes

At 24 h, 72 h and 7 days per post: views, likes, comments, shares, saves, follows, clicks, installs — from the platform API for connected channels (a partial snapshot until the platform's own latency passes), by hand otherwise. Manual rows are never overwritten.

05

Learn

dm learn compares the idea's ICE impact with realised performance normalised by the channel's 90-day median, lists winners and losers with their loops, the observed best hours, and the two gate metrics — and appends guidance to the next ideation prompt.

06

Recycle

Cadence targets per channel push a saturated channel to next week unless the signal is rising; evergreen recycling re-queues the top posts by 7-day views on channels below cadence, 21 days apart at least. Off by default.

03 Connectors

Five channels through their official APIs.

Tokens live in files only the owner can read, refreshed on schedule, redacted everywhere. Each card in the panel repeats the platform's policy notes and the AI-label field it requires.

04 Autonomy & safety

The gate, per brand and per channel.

Levels above draft require a connected account and a successful test post to a private target; autopilot is recommended after a week of clean copilot posts.

Level 1default

Draft

The plan and a copy-ready checklist — caption, hashtags, on-screen text, shot list. A person posts and pastes the URL; outcomes are entered or pulled by public API.

Level 2connected

Copilot

Everything up to the slot runs on its own. "Publish now" in the calendar sends the piece through the platform API with pre-checks, retries and a plain reason if it needs manual help.

Level 3connected · tested

Autopilot

Due slots publish within ±10 minutes of plan, the AI label set, outcomes and daily account metrics pulled automatically. Caps, blackouts and cadence still apply.

Never automationNo browser automation, no account cookies, no unofficial endpoints. If a platform has no API for something, it is manual and the panel says so.
Never without the labelA clone video without the platform's AI label fails the pre-check. Target: 100 % of API posts labelled, zero tokens in logs or the database.
Never unsolicitedWhatsApp goes only to imported opt-ins, stored hashed, with the per-country cost estimated before sending; delivery and read status come back by webhook.
